Slurry pumps are used for transferring slurries all through the mining process of iron ore. Screen

Screen

The screen is a surface with multiple apertures of given dimensions. Material of mixed size presented to that surface will either pass through or be retained, according to whether the particles are smaller or larger than dimensions of the aperture. Naipu supplies customized screen panels and plates for all vibrating screens. Our rubber plates and panels for mining vibrating screens are wear-resistant and have longer service life.

Spirals

A Spiral Concentrator is a flowing film separation device. It is operated by a continuous gravitational laminar flow down on an inclined surface. The mechanism of separation involves primary and secondary flow patterns. The primary flow is essentially the slurry flowing down the spiral trough under the force of gravity. The secondary flow is radial across the trough. Spirals require addition of water at various points to assist washing of the concentrate. The amount of wash waster and its distribution down the spiral trough can be adjusted to meet the operating requirements. Point control minimizes the total water requirements by efficiently directing water into the flowing pulp at the most effective angle.

Grinding mills are used in mineral processing plant to grind coarse ores and middling. They can be operated in both open and closed circuit. The purpose of grinding and regrinding is to reduce the ore to a size small enough to liberate and recover the valuable minerals. Magnetic Separator

Magnetic Separator

Magnetic separator serves to catching of metal magnetic impurities within a stream of liquid agents. It is equipped with composite, very strong permanent magnets such as Nd-Fe so there is no risk of tearing off magnetic impurities by the liquid stream. It is simple in construction, uses no extra power to generate the magnetic field and has high processing capacity per unit weight. This new device would be suitable for concentrating weakly magnetic minerals.

Hydrocyclones are important classifiers in ore dressing process, especially for separating fines, and are also applied in desliming, sand removing and thickening. Depending on the ore characteristics, operating parameters of hydro-cyclone can be altered to improve performance. Naipu manufactured hydrocyclones are lined with resistant rubber or polyurethane. The technic level of Naipu rubber liner applied in hydrocyclones has reached international standard. Naipu can supply signal hydrocyclones, rubber liners and hydrocyclone clusters according to the specific condition on the ore mining plant.

Flotation

Flotation

Flotation machines are widely used in mineral processing industry to effect separation between disperse phases based on differences in their affinities for air bubbles. However the effective design and scale-up of flotation columns remain a difficult problem. Their design has been based on the use of analogy with chemical kinetics. Use of this procedure is contrasted with mass transfer. The rubber liners of flotation machines manufactured by Naipu are widely used as the life-span is longer which can reduce the costs.

Thickener / Filters

Thickening/filtering removes most of the liquid from slurry concentrates and mill tailings. Thickened tailings are discharged to a tailings tank and the liquid is usually recycled to a holding pond for reuse. Chemical flocculants such as aluminium sulfate, lime, iron and starch, may be added to increase the efficiency of the thickening process. A distributor is required to feed each filter from the concentrate thickener. The most efficient filter i.e. pressure filter is now replacing older technology filters.

Mining pipelines and hoses are used all through the ore mining process, mainly for transferring slurry between slurry pumps in series. Naipu offers three types of slurry pipes: rubber, metal and composite (metal skeleton with rubber liner). Steel is hard and rubber is wear-resistant, anti-corrosive and temperature-resistant, therefore this rubber-lined steel pipe combines the advantages of steel and rubber.
