Project Introduction
The outer ring liner at the feed end of the φ8.53×3.96 semi-autogenous mill at Dongguashan Copper Mine of Tongling Nonferrous Metals originally adopted alloy liners. In June 2015, it was reconstructed into a split-type liner structure with a steel-rubber composite base plate and alloy pressing bars. After the reconstruction, the service life of the steel-rubber composite base plate remained stable at 6–7 months, while the service life of the alloy pressing bars was only 3–4 months. In 2022, affected by fracture, falling off and normal replacement, a total of 105 alloy pressing bars were consumed throughout the year.
Against this background, in response to the requirements of Dongguashan Copper Mine, Naipu Mining Machinery actively cooperated and carried out redesign and reconstruction for the outer ring liner at the feed end of the φ8.53×3.96 semi-autogenous mill. The reconstruction adopted a split-type structure, in which the outer ring liner at the feed end consists of a steel-rubber base plate and a steel-rubber lifting bar.The reconstruction target: the trial reconstruction is successful if the service life reaches more than 5 months.
Project Achievements
The service life of Naipu’s wear-resistant composite lifting bar reached 7.5 months, meeting and exceeding the required service life of 5 months specified in the trial agreement, with excellent trial performance.
